Camp Share Program
The Connecticut Burns Care Foundation (CBCF) proudly announces the launch of its newest initiative, the Burn Camp Share Program, an innovative and inspiring opportunity that allows young burn survivors to explore and experience burn camps across the United States. This new program enhances the Foundation’s long‑standing mission to support and empower burn survivors by fostering healing, growth, and community.
Through this new initiative, campers from CBCF’s own Arthur C. Luf Children’s Burn Camp and campers from across North America and Canada will now have the option to extend their summer experience, connect with peers from across the country, and continue their emotional and social development in new environments that support and understand their journeys.
The Arthur C. Luf Children’s Burn Camp, operated by the Connecticut Burns Care Foundation, has served young burn survivors for decades by offering them a safe, fun-filled, cost‑free summer camp where healing and self‑acceptance take center stage. The Burn Camp Share Program builds on this legacy by expanding opportunities nationwide.
CBCF looks forward to welcoming additional partner camps across the country and continuing to strengthen the network of support for young burn survivors everywhere–email us at cbcf@ctburnsfoundation.org for more information or if you’d like to become a partner camp!
