CBCF Announces New Home for Arthur C. Luf Children’s Burn Camp

Milford, CT – The Connecticut Burns Care Foundation is thrilled to announce that the Arthur C. Luf Children’s Burn Camp, our annual week-long retreat for young burn survivors, will embark on a new chapter at Camp Trexler in Kunkletown, Pennsylvania. Starting July 2026, campers aged 8 to 17 from around the world will gather for seven days of healing, empowerment, and lifelong friendships in the inspiring Pocono Mountains now becomes our forever home.

Camp Trexler offers:

  • Spacious camper cabins with modern amenities
  • State-of-the-art dining hall accommodating special dietary needs
  • Waterfront access for canoeing, kayaking, and waterfront games
  • Low-ropes challenge course and team-building activities
  • Arts and crafts studio and talent showcase auditorium
